"Where there is great Love, there are great Miracles...."

{Happy Beach, Koh Phangan, Thailand}

Through my work, and through all of my travel and explorations, through all of the struggle, all of the hurt, all of the confusion I see or personally experience, it all comes back around to Love.

Is something coming from a place of Love or Fear? Is something being done out of Fear or out of Trust and Love? Is an interaction coming from a place of Love or a place of Expectation and Judgement?

There is no Power or greater Mover than Love. After spending over 2 months on a very spiritual island, where Yoga, Veganism, and talk about the Chakras and Samadhi is the 'norm' I found myself getting agitated. Feeling frustrated. And even feeling angry.

Why?

Because with all the wisdom that comes from connecting to the Spiritual Truths, there is still one thing that is lacking (in my generalized opinion).

Heart. Love. Unconditional Love. It's become more of a head practice rather than a heart practice. We've stopped allowing ourselves to accept that reality can sometimes be painful. And that pain shouldn't be judged as 'bad' or 'non-spiritual'.

Instead of escaping into our spiritual practices (which can do wonders) to get away from this pain or discomfort, we also need to remember to express and radiate Love in these times. The most powerful thing we can offer someone going through tough time is our Love. Rather than judging our pain or their pain as 'bad' and 'not spiritual'.

As we tend to do, we take things to the extreme. We get so caught up in the attaining of knowledge, clearing energetic blocks, reaching spiritual enlightenment, that we have forgotten the most essential piece.

To Live on this Earth and to Love. To have Self-Love. Love for others. Love for the planet. And not Loving because something is deserving of Loving, but Loving because EVERYTHING is deserving of Loving. Not judging our emotions as 'bad', but loving them because they show us our humanity and our intense ability to feel and to connect (and this is a beautiful thing, even when it's messy).

I've been feeling quite a bit of weight and overwhelm the past month. Heaviness. Sadness. From not only personal things, but Universal energy and what has been happening around our world (as I'm sure you can relate). One of the things that has helped me to feel better is to spread Love, even when I was having trouble feeling it for myself.

When I hug a friend or someone I just meet, not only do I just hug them, but I send them as much love and light as I can. When I smile and say "hi" to someone, I do it from my heart, not from an automatic reaction.

As I was sitting watching the sunset over the ocean last night, feeling overwhelmed with grief and sadness, hurt and confusion, I began to instead send Love and Light to each person that walked by. And this brought me immense peace.

Love is felt. So is anger, confusion, hate, and rage. It is felt even without its expression. And so is Love. Love can be felt all over the world, even without action. We can radiate Love simply by feeling Love. And this is what we all need. Where there is Love there can be nothing else. When others can't be in a place of Love, we can be and vice versa.

There is a healthy, good quality cafe on Koh Phangan, the island where I am currently living. Even though it is by far one of the highest quality cafes on the island, more often than not, when I eat here, I feel sick or not-so-great afterwards. I noticed that the employees at this cafe never look happy. They rarely smile. When I try to lock eyes with them and talk or smile, they look away. There is a very unhappy energy here. And it shows up in their food. But when I go down the street to a small local Thai restaurant, the service there is full of light. They light-up when they see you, they remember you, they genuinely want your experience to be a good one. And I always feel good after eating there (even though they probably use poor quality oil and plenty of sugars in their cooking).

So remember, Love is spread and is felt in SO many ways.

What can we all do each and every day to spread a bit more Love? Where might you be withholding Love from yourself or from others?

Maybe it's as simple as placing your hands around your plate before you eat and sending your food Love and Gratitude. Because then this Love and Gratitude is directly transferred to you and back out into the world.

Or maybe it's sending Love to every person you encounter throughout your day.

Perhaps it's calling up someone you truly Love and appreciate and telling them how much you Love them without expecting anything in return.

Maybe it's hugging someone a little bit tighter or a little bit longer.

Maybe it's looking at yourself in the mirror with FULL LOVE and admiration.

See how many ways you can exude and radiate Love and let's see what happens in the world around us.

"Where there is great Love, there are great Miracles."

Sometimes, truly, all we really need, is Love. Anything is possible where there is Love.
